ABOUT MALIK DEENAR HOSPITAL
Malik Deenar Hospital is a pioneer institution in health care services since its inception in 1972. The Founder of the institution Late Janab K.S Abdullah, a great Philanthropist, and a native of Thalangara, Kasaragod, had a long cherished ambition and vision to promote and uplift the underprivileged people of Kasaragod. Malik Deenar Hospital is named after Malik Bin Deenar who is a disciple of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).Kasaragod was a remote, socially and educationally backward district of Kerala, there were no hospitals in and around Kasaragod except the Govt. Thaluk Hospital. Shortage of doctors and nurses in Govt. hospital added more burden on people for getting medical care. Thus Janab K.S Abdullah realized and visualized the difficulties of people directly and was inspired and highly self motivated to start a hospital as a result in 1972 the Malik Deenar Hospital came into existence.
